FIPS (Fédération Internationale des Patrouilles de Ski) has partnered with MountainSafety.info (MSi), an international knowledge base for mountain safety and avalanche rescue best practices. As part of this collaboration, FIPS members receive a free subscription to MSi’s database for two years. This allows access to valuable information and resources developed by experts worldwide.
To introduce members to the database, Manuel Genswein, a key figure behind MSi, will be leading workshops at the FIPS European Congress in Romania in early March. Before the congress, there will be two webinars.
The first webinar was held on Thursday, February 13, 2025. A link to the recording of this webinar will be posted shortly.
The second webinar will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 7:00 pm UTC.
