Piancavallo is a small resort (about 20 chilometers of slopes) in north-est side of Italy. Early in the morning it is possible look at the glittering of the sea.
Last week we had the first snowfall: about 30 centimerters (12 inches), not enough to open the resort.
We were working hard to install the A-type nets along the slopes when the snow began to fall.
Luckily it stopped before laying down a thick layer and we managed to bind the nets to the ground rope without a too big hassle.
Next week the mats will wrap the snowguns, the trees and other obstacles. There will be nothing left and the resort will be ready to host the skiers.
Will you be among them?
